Quinta da Raza Family Collection – 2nd edition is a blend of Alvarinho, Gouveio and Avesso, fermented and aged in French oak barrels. Harvested in 2018, 2019 and 2020, bottled in 2023 with 24 months of ageing on fine lees. Intense, with fruity and spicy aromas. The oak is well integrated, resulting in a wine of high complexity and persistent flavour. It’s a powerful wine with good aging potential.

WINEMAKING PROCESS

Manual harvesting of selected grapes. Fermentation in 5 years old, 500 liters, French oak barrels. Bâtonnage for 24 months in fine lees. Bottled 28 months after harvest.

TASTING NOTES

Intense, with fruity and spicy aromas, the wood is well integrated, resulting in a wine of high complexity and persistent flavor. A powerful wine with good aging potential.

HARMONIZATIONS

Ideal with seafood, fish, pasta, light dishes and meat dishes. As it ages, it accompanies pleasantly with cheese.
