Quinta da Raza Vineyards Collection Vinha de Lamelas, a rare treasure, perfect for lovers of exquisite wines. Quinta da Raza is the only producer in the Vinho Verde region to produce a 100% Gouveio, a grape variety with great elegance and complexity. Surprisingly soft and delicate, it has intense aromas of white-fleshed fruit with mineral nuances that emerge as the wine develops in the glass. Excellent ageing potential, developing additional complexity, mouthfeel and flavour.

WINEMAKING PROCESS

This wine results from a rigorous selection of our best Gouveio grapes, from a single terraced vineyard. The grape crop is picked manually into small boxes. The grapes are destemmed and then pressed at low pressure. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine is filtered and cold stabilized.

TASTING NOTES

Intense white-fleshed fruit aromas that emerge as the wine evolves in the glass. Notes of rich and mature fruit make the wine gain another dimension in the mouth where it is surprisingly smooth and delicate.

HARMONIZATIONS

Wine Serving Temperature 8ºC – 10ºC.

This wine is ideal served with light meals, fish, Asian dishes, shellfish, light meat dishes and cheese.
