Spaghetti with prawns

This is a dish that combines wine and the sea, ideal for the summer that is just around the corner. Our Avesso wine, which means "the opposite of what it should be" is everything we want it to be, elegant and harmonious, and it goes perfectly with this dish!

INGREDIENTS

Pasta

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 600g spaghetti
  • Chopped fresh parsley

Sauce

  • 60g butter
  • 500g peeled prawns
  • 100mL of white wine
  • 8 peeled tomatoes
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 300 ml cream (packet)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese


PREPARATION

Sauce

  1. Melt the butter in a frying pan with two chopped garlic cloves.
  2. Cook the prawns in the pan until they are well sautéed.
  3. Remove the prawns from the pan and set aside.
  4. Add the white wine, chopped tomatoes, pepper to taste, 2 tablespoons of curry powder, cream and Parmesan cheese to the pan.
  5. Cook over a low heat for 10 minutes.


Pasta

  1. In a separate pan, cook the spaghetti in salted water with a drizzle of olive oil for 10 - 12 minutes.
  2. When the spaghetti is firm and tender, drain, rinse in warm water and drain again.
  3. Add the shrimp sauce to the pot with the spaghetti.
  4. Mix for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the reserved prawns and fold in.
  6. Serve sprinkled with a little parsley.
